Global 2016

From March 28th to April 10th, 2016, five hip hop artists traveled to Washington, D.C. and Chapel Hill, North Carolina as part of the Next Level program. Dancer Kifuko Moureen Drichiru a.k.a. B-Girl Key (Uganda), DJ Cue Bass (El Salvador), MC Ainara Calix Montesinos a.k.a. AinaJuana (Honduras), Dancer Boonyachana Tissakul a.k.a. B-Boy Sept (Thailand), and MC Amani Msangi a.k.a. Kiche Legend (Tanzania) joined together to perform for audiences and collaborate with local artists to learn more about hip hop through workshop and practice, promote cross-cultural creative exchange and conflict transformation. The team is part of a Next Level international contingent of MCs, DJs, beatmakers, and hip hop dancers recruited from Next Level countries. You can read more about the artists here.
