Black Rhythm
Black Rhythm is a beatbox artist, speaker, educator, and creative entrepreneur based in Puerto Rico. Black Rhythm’s work blends education and performance through the concept of experimental vocal music. He is the National Champion of Beatboxing and two-time Puerto Rican Vice Champion. He is the president of Beatbox Puerto Rico, which is working toward the development of a strong beatbox community in Puerto Rico. Black Rhythm is currently a teaching artist at BEAT Global, an urban arts organization that uses various elements of Hip Hop culture as a tool for people with disabilities to creatively express themselves. Black Rhythm has competed and performed in countries all over the globe with a unique blend of afro-global and electronic influences ranging from Salsa, Rumba, Dancehall, Reggaeton, Hip Hop, and funk, that have helped establish him as the premier beatboxer in Puerto Rico.
