Rochelle Underdue is a dancer and dance educator from Jacksonville, Florida. Rochelle has danced for 14 + years, 7 of those years were spent under the late mentor, Kavin Grant, training with A Rhythm Nation community dance company. Rochelle has a diverse dance background and is fluent in numerous variations of hip hop, including old-school hip hop, vogue, whacking, house, breaking, and island grooves. Dance led her to explore many opportunities such as becoming one of the dance managers for Florida State College at Jacksonville's student dance company, danceWORKS, and a former dance director for Duarte, California, dance instructor for Florida Ballet, Monet Ballet, Timuquana Country Club, and Don’t Miss a Beat. Currently, Rochelle has successfully became the first Hip Hop and Fusion dance Educator of Douglas Anderson school of the arts in Jacksonville, Florida.

In 2016 Rochelle created a community ministry platform entitled, In the Midst. She educates on the artistry and ministry of community dance spaces. Rochelle tailors community classes, performances, and workshops to all ages and experience levels. Keeping unity in community as the main intention of interaction. This platform recently was featured in RADAX magazine and podcast in highlighting the importance of #blm in dance spaces. Outside of dance, she encourages healthy conversations through a new podcast journey, Therapy, Not Therapy alongside podcaster IamEnerji and Che. The podcast stems from life occurrences, aspirations, and spiritual growth.

Rochelle has explored different stages and sides of the dance industry, ministry, and community in California and New York as a reflection of how the Jacksonville community has been her foundation to build as a dancer.
